Find a CTE course for Technical Theater to bring theater explicitly into STEM.

What have been your challenges and how have you addressed them?

This campus has made a huge change from 3 years ago. Campus now has 7 pathways, most of which are 4 year or are becoming 4 year. Educating community and bringing the teachers along has been a challenge.

PLTW Gateway with units in Engineering and Biomedical Science in 7th grade; Medical Detectives and Flight and Space in 8th grade

STEM Pathways include Engineering through Project Lead the Way, which consists of IED, Civil and a Capstone class currently taught with Aerospace being added in 2019.

Biomedical Science Pathway through Project Lead the Way, which consists of Principals of Biomedical Science, Human Body Systems and a Capstone class currently taught with Medical Interventions being offered in 2019.

Computer Science Pathway, with Computer Science I being offered for next year.

Ag Mechanics Pathway which consists of Principals of Ag, Ag Mechanics, Ag Facilities Design and Ag Power Systems as a sequence of classes.

Horticulture Pathway, which consists of Principals of Ag, Horticultural Science, Greenhouse Operations and a Horticulture Capstone as a sequence of classes.
