What have been your challenges and how have you addressed them?

Recruiting students: brochures, videos showcasing the program, meetings with students at middle school, parent and community meetings.

Aligning the courses taken at the EPCC aligned with the courses needed with the majors of the students. Addressed by adding new counselor that is knowledgeable in college advising working closely with the college counselor.

Students not knowing what types of careers are available to them:  Addressed with professional speakers bureau given within the AVID classes.
