Describe campus/program, goals, and theory of change

Panola Schools is more than a school district. We are a “safe, supportive community,” utilizing constant, friendly, mature interaction between staff, parents and students, with the goal of maximizing each student’s potential. Every child needs the opportunity to be prepared for a college career, but not every child wants to attend college/university. At Panola Schools, we prepare and challenge each student to become the most effective functioning adult they wish to be and should become.

Our task/dedication is to help all of our students discover their talents, discipline themselves to maximize these talents, and enjoy being who they are meant to be during their journey here on earth.

Describe Blueprint Benchmark strengths

Benchmark 2: Partnership agreement/MOU between ECHS and Panola College. Panola College waives tuition and fees for students in trade for rent on the building that houses Panola ECHS. MOU states the college textbooks will be used for three year cycles.

Benchmark 3: P-16 Leadership Initiative - Panola ECHS has a strong partnership between the college leadership team. The leadership team meets at least once a semester.
