Describe campus/program, goals, and theory of change

Longview ISO is fully committed to collaborate with Kilgore College in the development of an Early College High School within our district. Longview ISO and Kilgore College have partnered on many occasions over the years and have developed a consistent, effective, and successful Dual Credit program within our Core Academic classes as well as through our Career and Technology offerings. Broadening the spectrum of this partnership will enhance the opportunities for our children in the Longview ISD and provide them with the highest level of education while providing them an opportunity to obtain college credit as well as a degree.

The value of this program to our district is immeasurable. Increased student achievement as well as increased opportunities for our economically disadvantaged students provides the keys to success for our population. ECHS will provide the opportunities needed for our students to pursue college courses and degrees at no cost to the student while preparing them for the future.
