What areas of interest do you have for Technical Assistance (up to 3 areas, rank in order of importance)?

The campus is seeking a more comprehensive  targeted recruitment process; timeline for implementation aligned with other District programs; and creating a more comprehensive Bridge Program.  The campus is seeking a way to separate the ECHS students into their own core sections but the program approval was too late for the master schedule to be revised.  More information on implementing  a Bridge program would be helpful.

What tools or resources would be valuable to your campus to support your implementation of the blueprint?

Tool and resources for a recruitment process and timeline; assistance with the leadership team and sub-leadership groups; and assistance withmaster schedule for core teachers teaching only ECHS students; master schedule samples for SWS; Bridge curricula and schedule would be helpful;

What have been your challenges and how have you addressed them?

The campus needed student candidates and their information earlier in the selection process along with more efficient screening processes..  There was a late start for initiating the whole program implementation; more efficient screening process.  The campus concentrated on accepting a lower of number of students than projected to ensure targeted population criteria was met with willing students that expressed an interest and completed the enrollment process.  All ECHS students are embedded in the general Grade 9 population and receive the same services and resources.

The standard Dual Credit and AP course offerings have been in place since 1995 as required by statute with no challenges for that implementation. The success rate for attainment in college credits through DC or AP was not known. A challenge has been the loss of the Academic Dean position that was replaced by four new position called Instructional Coaches. Refinement and effective utilization of those positions is ongoing. All ECHS students are embedded in the general Grade 9 population and receive the same services as the general population..
